According to the White House, President Trump announced the launch of Phase Two of his 20-point Comprehensive Plan to End the Gaza Conflict. This phase centers on the creation of the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza (NCAG), led by Dr. Ali Sha’ath, to focus on restoring essential services and rebuilding institutions within Gaza. The initiative is designed to prepare the region for future self-governance.
A Board of Peace, chaired by President Trump, has been established to provide strategic oversight and mobilize international resources, aligning with UN Security Council Resolution 2803 (2025). Key appointments include Aryeh Lightstone and Josh Gruenbaum as senior advisors, Nickolay Mladenov as High Representative for Gaza, and Major General Jasper Jeffers as Commander of the International Stabilization Force.
The United States has reaffirmed its commitment to the transitional framework and is calling for cooperation from all involved parties. A Gaza Executive Board is currently being formed to support effective governance and service delivery, with additional appointments anticipated in the coming weeks.
